About this file
This document contains Questions and Answers related to a federal contract opportunity for the conversion of an existing activity court into a pickleball court at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. The key details include:
The project budget is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. There are no security clearance requirements, but personnel must be able to obtain base access. Construction is limited to normal work hours (0730-1630 M-F) with prior coordination required for access outside those times. There are no brand preferences or requirements for the acrylic surfacing materials, and a water source is available on-site. Subcontracting is allowed as long as subcontractors can obtain base access. The project solely covers converting the area underneath the pavilion into a single pickleball court and does not include any work on the existing tennis courts. The government requests the addition of a concrete slab defined in Option 1 of the Statement of Work. No fence work is required, and a non-permanent, rolling pickleball net is requested. There are no noise restrictions or designated staging areas.
