STATEMENT OF WORK

Weapons Load Crew Consolidate Tool Kit (CTK) Trailers

October 25, 2019

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

1. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and transportation to manufacture 10 towable CTK trailers to Whiteman AFB, MO. Variations are authorized due to metal thickness/engineering integrity and usability with Government approval.

REQUIREMENTS:

2. 10 Towable enclosed Trailers

2.1 The overall structure is rectangular in nature. Meeting all provided diagrams as close as possible.

2.2 The chassis will have a hand lever parking brake system with a stowable tow bar and aft pintle hook with four tie down locations (2 per end).

2.3 The aft end of the trailer will be a fold out maintenance desk.

2.4 Attached to the outer trailer will be four handles for easier pushing/pulling.

2.5 Underneath the trailer will be 2 forklift attach points.

2.6 Roofs shall enable the mitigation of water from collecting or running towards the doors. Slant/pitch is up to the final engineer with Government’s subject matter expert or representative approval.

2.7 The color scheme of the trailers will be FED STAND #27038/RGB Hex Code #051111; International Black. Powder coated with a gloss of 5 to 15 percent. Slight variations are authorized with Government’s subject matter expert or representative approval.

2.8 The left hand side (LHS) will have multiple storage locations; to include three vertically moveable shelving on the forward portion. Vertically specific movements not needed due to adjustable rear tie-down rails.

2.8.1 There will be a removable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) can.

2.8.2 A closeable storage locker will also be added to assist in the storage of articles of clothing and other personnel items.

2.8.3 The LHS will also house two KTS30 Champion Storage tool boxes;

KTS30’s may be swapped for other appropriate tool boxes with government’s subject matter expert or representative approval.

2.8.4 The KTS30’s or equal will house the majority of the 509/131 BW weapons CTK Master Inventory Listing (MIL) provided. The CTK MIL will be spread between both KTS30 (or Equal) boxes.

2.8.5 A weather proof document holder will also be installed on top of a KTS30 (or equal).

2.9 The right hand side (RHS) will have vertically adjustable shelving to house four little giant ladder systems (ladders provided and installed by Government). A vertical lip should be installed to prevent ladder movement during trailer transit.

2.9.1 The aft end of the RHS will be used to house Ear Defenders, Hard/Soft shell communication sets, tool extensions, and other B-2 specific items (all items will be Government provided and installed). The B-2 specific items/tool extensions will be housed vertically against the bottom fire wall and secured with a Velcro strap to the aft wall. Tool placement will be available upon request.

2.10 Access to the left and right side of trailers compartments will be from a key lockable roll-up door.

2.11 Refer to provided diagrams for overall dimensions of the trailers and layout at Attachment 2.

5. Warranty:

5.1 The contractor shall provide a warranty for products and workmanship at no less than commercial standards specification being at least one year from the date of delivery.

5.2 The contractor shall provide a statement of terms and conditions of the warranty provided at the time of final acceptance.

6. Period of Performance:

6.1 Work to be performed within a period of performance of no greater than 180 calendar days from date of contract award to time of delivery.

7. Change Request:

7.1 All change requests from the contractor will be approved by the Government’s subject matter experts or representatives.

8. Project Design:

8.1 The contractor shall provide the Government with their own proposed trailer diagrams/blue prints displaying functionally and layout. The diagrams will have trailer, tool boxes, and shelve dimensions. The diagrams will have recommended placement of all items and will be provided prior to contract award.

8.2 The Government’s subject matter experts or representatives will approve all diagrams for technical acceptance prior to manufacturing.
