DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE

509th CONTRACTING SQUADRON (AFGSC)

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, MISSOURI

30 May 2017

MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: 509 CONS/LGCA

660 Tenth Street, Suite 222 Whiteman AFB, MO 65305-5344

SUBJECT: FA462517Q0055 – Legume Inter-Seeding

1. This meeting was held by the 509th Civil Engineering Squadron (509 CES), and the 509th Contracting Squadron (509 CONS) to review the statement of work (SOW) and allow potential offerors to view the project site. The following individuals were in attendance:

NAME ORGANIZATION

SSgt Daniel Young 509 CONS Keith Donaldson 509 CES Joshua Siegel Central Missouri Landworx Shelby Wilson Shelby D. Wilson Tom Corbett Corbett Construction

2. As discussed at the site visit, Tom Corbett and Joshua Siegel are familiar with the area and have completed jobs in this area in previous years. Shelby Wilson is not familiar with this area.

3. The site visit started at the Welcome Center. We discussed that there used to be a trailer home on the property which had a well placed next to it. When the home was removed the well remained and is deep enough to ruin a tractor if it drives into it. It is hard to see with the grass so tall right now so the contractors should use caution in this area. There is a pile of dirt at the back of the property from clearing out a pond. If that pile remains seeding will be done around it. Seeding should be shallow to allow proper growth and it was recommended that the period of performance be 1 Sep 17 to 15 Oct 17 also to allow proper growth. Lastly, the area is approximately 400 acres and this acreage does include the trees so seeding will not be the full 400 acres.
