SUMMARY OF CHANGES

The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions generated in response to the solicitation and the pre-proposal site visit.

Q1. Is the government relocating the furniture or is it the contractor’s responsibility?

A1: The government will space furniture away from the wall, if the spacing is not enough the government will assist contractors if available.

Q2: Does the government have a hazardous report on the building? Asbestos or lead paint?

A2: There is no report on the building. No asbestos or lead paint suspected.

Q3: If there is no report, is it the contractor’s responsibility to test areas that need construction work done?

A3: The contractor is allowed to test if they see fit.

Q4: Is hazardous abatement required on this contract?

A4: Hazardous abatement is not required.

Q5: In rooms where we have duplex drop locations close to each other (ATT-1 drawing), can we utilize a quad plate to minimize additional wall drops?

A5: Yes, quad plates are recommended even if only two jacks are utilized IAW UFC 3-580-01 Chapter 2 recommendations.

Q6: What color Faceplates and what color wire mold?

A6: Standard beige/white for faceplates and the actual cable should be blue.

Q7: There is an item on your list that says drop ceiling adapter-can you explain what this is?

A7: The drop ceiling adapter is a raceway adapter for the drop ceiling.

Q8: How is the cable tray currently installed?

A8: We are unsure how the cable tray is currently installed. Price your quote at the risk of not knowing.

Q9: Is there enough preexisting fiber to move?

A9: Yes, from previous inspections there was plenty of slack to be able to move the current fiber to the new location.

All other terms and conditions remain the same.
