The amendment extends the deadline for proposal submissions to March 15, 2022 and provides answers to four questions from offerors. The services required include routine furniture moves within normal duty hours of 8am to 12pm Monday through Friday, with potential work outside these hours for major moves. SUMMARY OF CHANGES
The purpose of this Amendment is to:
1. Answer contractor proposed questions as listed below.
Q1-Reference Q8: Please clarify if the normal duty hours are 0800-1200 Monday through Friday and no additional hours beyond 1200 Monday through Friday.
A1: Normal duty hours will be 8-12, M-F. Major moves would dictate work outside of normal hours.
Q2- Reference Q11- Based on the answer provided “Two employees; 8 hours of work (1 hour for lunch); 24 hours a week per employee.” Please clarify if the two employees are each working 20 hours per week or 24 hours per week.
A2: Each employee is working 24 hours a week for the current contract (three 8 hour days).
Q3: Reference Q11- The question states each employee is getting 1 hour for lunch. If they are not working 8 hour shift, DOL does not require an employee to receive a 1 hour lunch break. Please clarify.
A3: On the present contract employees work an 8 hour shift and get a 1 hour lunch break. This new requirement will only dictate a 4 hour workday.
Q4: Is there a forklift charger for the contractor to use?
A4: No.
Fill out blocks 15a, 15b, and 15c and then return back to us.
