Amendment 2

Question: Do the SERE courses include video, PDF, and Microsoft PowerPoint slides?

Answer: Yes; however the primary focus of the SERE courses is to teach potential SERE instructors skills useful in survival evasion resistance and escape so that they can more effectively pass those skills onto students. The software/analysis package that SERE is seeking would be used to increase the effectiveness of training and also aid in the in selection process.

Question: What are the requirements for being hosted on the AF LAN?

Answer: Approval of the software by the AF Chief Information Officer. Note: this is a long, detailed process that can take more than a year.

Question: Can the system be hosted offsite?

Answer: Yes, the system can be hosted off of the AF network as long as SERE personnel have continuous online and offline access to the program/data and the data is controlled as proprietary so it is not accessible by the general public/commercial entities other than the contractor providing the software and analysis service.

Question: Would you be open to accepting our submission a week later than the due date?

Answer: No, late submissions will not be considered due to the delays it would cause to the acquisition process.
