About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA461326Q1001, Building 333 Surveillance System, updated April 16, 2026. The document addresses clarifications from a site visit and provides government responses across six categories of contractor inquiries.

Installation and System Requirements: All existing cameras must be removed and replaced with new 4K high-resolution cameras (8MP/12MP minimum 3840 x 2160 pixels). The total camera count is 22, consisting of a mix of fixed and PTZ cameras, with exterior cameras requiring object recognition and tracking capabilities. Drilling is permitted only into mortar, not bricks. Acceptable cable hanging methods include "J" hooks or Arlington plastic hangers, with plenum-rated cables required. The system will be a standalone installation not connected to the Air Force network, operating as a closed restricted network with CAC authentication for authorized personnel access only. Two monitors will be located in rooms 130 and 126; the government will provide TVs for both locations. Video storage is mandated at 30 days minimum with the possibility of upgrading to 180 days at a later date. Equipment will be housed in room 141 in a government-provided standard rack with 10 RU (17.5 inches) of available space. All network switches must comply with the Approved Products List (APL), and all equipment including surge protection and switches must be TAA and NDAA compliant. The system is compatible with WiseNet for potential future integration into BDOC (Wise Net Wave), though the government currently has no VMS preference. Installation must be completed within 180 days, with semi-annual maintenance visits required following manufacturer's standard procedures. Out-of-warranty repairs will be handled by the government after warranty expiration.
