SUBJECT: Fire Equipment Maintenance, Request for Information (RFI) Questions and Answers (Q&A) #1, dated 18 January 2024.

Question 1: What type of SCBA unit does the fire department have? Is the Fire Department planning on having new MSA G1 air packs in 2024?

Answer 1: We currently are using MSA M7 air packs. We have received the bulk of the MSA G1 air packs for a complete switchover. We are awaiting 1 more component. I am told by our SCBA program manager we will have the G1 in service in 2024.
