Questions and Answers Portable Toilets Leasing Services

1. Question: Can you please confirm if solicitation FA461022Q0012 will have a small business/DVBE preference or incentive?

Answer: No, the Request for Quote is solicited for Full and Open competition.

2. Question: If a vendor cannot accommodate the pre-invoice requirement noted on page 8 of the PWS document, will a bid response be deemed non-responsive?

Answer: Any offer that does not conform to the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be determined technically unacceptable.

3. The yearly unit average provided in the PWS is how many units Vandenberg typically dispatched within a years time. Please confirm how many units are typically permanent for bidding purposes.

Example:

60 Permanent Units x 12 months = 720 Units Special Occasions/Emergency: Varies month to month but equals = 300 Units for the year.

Both these combined equal the yearly average of 1020 Units for the year etc.

Answer: The numbers below are estimates only and (do not a guarantee of any future work) and the quantity will vary due to mission requirements.

The following units are currently on the permanent list each month:

57 standard x 12 = 684 9 ADA x 12 = 108 2 trailer mount = 24 4 hand wash stations x 12 = 48

There are other units that are placed on an on-call basis. The monthly recurring units are the Parade Grounds for the Wing Run. However, this is subject to cancellation due to the pandemic.

The base supports military training exercises at the North Star training site. This is not routine and it can sometimes require 45 portable toilets for several weeks.

The other portable toilet units are for Space Force launches and other government requirements.
