Statement of Work Summary

This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the delivery and installation of rolling shelves in Building 6415 at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, with a 60-day delivery timeline from Award and Receipt of Order (AOR). The 702nd Maintenance Squadron requires mobile shelving units to enhance storage capacity, optimize space utilization, and improve access to tools and equipment in two locations within Building 6415: the Lower Mezzanine and Main Service Area (Room 102).

The Lower Mezzanine installation requires a 19'2" track system with concrete anchors supporting five movable shelving units (31 5/16" wide, 20'1" long, 79 1/8" tall) divided into three columns with two measuring 75 3/4" and one measuring 99 3/4". The Main Service Area requires three separate track systems (two 72" long, one 96" long) supporting multiple mobile shelving units with split configurations to accommodate existing support columns. Both installations must include crank-actuated systems, locking mechanisms for safety, adjustable shelves with foam surfaces, and minimum clearance spacing (35 1/8" for Lower Mezzanine, 36" for Main Service Area). Each system must support an average distributed load of at least 78 lbs/ft². The contractor is responsible for all materials, labor, equipment, site cleanup, damage repair, and safeguarding government property. Work hours are 0700-1700 on weekdays only, excluding weekends and federal holidays. All contractor personnel require AF Form 75 visitor passes obtained through the 2 Security Forces Squadron, with background screening taking 7-10 days. The contractor must maintain a safety plan with appropriate PPE, comply with OSHA standards, report all accidents to the Security Forces Law Enforcement Desk at (318) 456-2551, and provide after-hours contact information for Emergency Mass Notification System registration.
