About this file
This is Amendment 2 to a federal solicitation for mezzanine replacement services at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.
The amendment provides clarification through a Question and Answers document addressing vendor inquiries about the project scope and specifications. Key clarifications include: flooring types vary by location (702nd MXS uses tile flooring, Lower Mezzanine has cement, and Main CTK has hard rubber with cement); shelf dimensions refer to maximum height with 18-inch clearance required from the fire suppression system; no handrails are required; shelving must support 78 pounds per square foot; removal of existing shelving is required at all locations (Building 6225, Building 6415 Lower Mezzanine, and Building 6415 Main Service Area); and the contractor is responsible for arranging and paying for all disposal of removed shelving, with no government-provided dumpster. The submission deadline for Solicitation FA460826QC090 has been extended to 1:00 PM Central Time on June 30, 2026. Questions or concerns should be directed to SrA Ricardo Florentino, Contract Specialist, at (318) 456-9729 or ricardo.florentino@us.af.mil.
