About this file
This document is an Amendment 01 to a Solicitation issued by the 2D Contracting Squadron of the Department of the Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, for a Vehicle A/C Installation project. The solicitation (FA460825QS025) covers the removal of four existing vehicle roof-mounted A/C units and installation of four new roof-mounted A/C units. The work will be performed off-base at the contractor's auto shop, with government personnel responsible for vehicle drop-off and pick-up. The amendment provides clarification on three key questions: work location, vehicle transportation, and contractor vehicle operation authorization. Contractors are permitted to drive government vehicles only to the extent necessary to complete the required work, and they must coordinate vehicle pick-up and drop-off with the 20th BGS using the provided contact number (318) 456-5036.
