About this file

This document is an Amendment to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for CATM Range Maintenance at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. The amendment provides clarifying details through a series of 13 questions and answers about the range maintenance requirements, including specifics about the bullet trap (a steel trap), Dust Collector Unit (DCU) model DFT2-12, and filter maintenance. Key technical details include the range's 10,810 square foot floor, current lead-free status, and expectations for contractor personnel to have working knowledge of the bullet trap system and ability to repair associated equipment.

The amendment extends the RFQ due date to 12:00 PM CST on 9 June 2025 and updates the Wage Determination attachment. The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside with a $20.5M size standard, covering a base year and four potential option years from September 2025 to September 2030. The maintenance services include quarterly preventative maintenance, projectile and lead dust collection, scheduled system maintenance, range cleaning, and potential unscheduled maintenance. Interested contractors are advised to thoroughly review the Performance Work Statement and provide quotes electronically to the Contracting Specialist, SrA Jonathan Schrank.
