About this file
Amendment 02 for Solicitation FA460825QC124 provides a Questions and Answers document for an Aircrew Lockers procurement by the Department of the Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base. The amendment addresses four vendor questions regarding locker specifications, including confirmation that 384 total lockers (64 assemblies of 6 lockers each) will be removed from the 2nd floor, which has a tile surface. The government indicates no specific manufacturer part numbers are available, and vendors have discretion for disposing of the old lockers.
The solicitation is a small business set-aside (NAICS 337215, 500 employee size standard) for purchasing and installing 192 aircrew lockers. The government notes funds are not currently available, reserving the right to cancel the solicitation or award on a partial basis. Quotes were due by 1:00 PM CDT on 08 August 2025, with the contract specialist being SSgt Hector Sanchez de Jesus and the contracting officer SSgt Alisia Davis, both located at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana.

FA46082425QC124, Aircrew Lockers, Amendment 02
DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE
2D CONTRACTING SQUADRON (AFGSC)
BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE LOUISIANA
4 August 2025
MEMORANDUM FOR Vendors/Offerors
FROM: 2d Contracting Squadron/PKP 801 Kenney Avenue, Building 4400, Suite 2300 Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana 71110
SUBJECT: Amendment 02, FA460825QC124 Aircrew Lockers
1. The purpose of issuing Amendment 02 is to provide supplemental information in the form of a Question and Answers document for the remaining questions in Attachment 4 – Questions and Answers. The following questions were submitted to 2 CONS by the deadline of 10:00 AM CDT on 25 July 2025 and the answers to each are highlighted below in red:
Question 1: Since there are no legs, a Locker Anchoring Angle will need to be provided to secure the locker to the floor or raised base. The installer will need to provide the appropriate anchors once the type of floor is identified.
Answer 1: Our current lockers do not have anchors so I am not sure if the new ones will require them. If the selected contractor/company does require them, then we will have to work with CE to ensure we can make holes in the floor due to being on the 2nd floor. The floor is tile.
Question 2: The locker specs appear to be very specific to a particular MFG. Can you provide the MFG along with the part number so we can be sure to quote exactly what the RFQ calls for?
Answer 2: During prior market research we got measurements with a suggested blueprint/ breakdown of the lockers, but there are no part numbers associated with the requested equipment.
Question 3: How many existing lockers, on the 2nd floor, are we removing?
Answer 3: They are sixty-four (64) assemblies of six (6) lockers each, a total of 384.
Question 4: Are we disposing of the old lockers on base, off-site, or will the base re-use the lockers?
Answer 4: Vendor preference. We are not re-using the lockers.
2. The due date and time of 1:00 PM CDT on 08 Aug 2025 remains unchanged for Solicitation
