SUBJECT: FA460825QC067 – Transformers, Amendment 01
1. The purpose of this amendment is to provide supplemental information in the form of a Question and Answers document. The following questions were submitted to 2 CONS by the deadline of 1:30 PM CDT on 24 April 2025. The answer to each question is highlighted in red below:
Question 1: The conductor requested in the design requirements is Al / Al. Would Cu / Cu be acceptable?
Answer 1: The required material is actually copper.
Question 2: Which material do you want for the windings? (Copper or Aluminium)
Answer 2: The required material is actually copper.
Question 3: What is the transformer(s) order schedule?
Answer 3: There is no order schedule. We would like to receive the equipment as soon as possible.
Question 4: What is the lead times for order(s)?
Answer 4: There is no identified lead time for orders. We would like to receive the equipment as soon as possible.
Question 5: Will the transformer order(s) need to be installed at Barksdale AFB?
Answer 5: No. This purchase is for the equipment only, so no labor or installation is required.
Question 6: Could you provide clarification on the Brand Name you are requesting?
Answer 6: This is not a brand name requirement. Any brand of equipment that meets the salient characteristics provided in the solicitation will be considered for award.
