About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for a B500 Stairway Carpet Replacement project. The Q&A provides detailed specifications for the carpet replacement, including that the stairs are concrete, the existing carpet is glued down, and the new carpet will be carpet tile with no nosing. The staircase is straight, 54" wide, and has 11 stair treads per half flight (22 per flight). The replacement will wrap the entire stair, and work will be conducted during normal work hours with the ability to close off the stairwell.

The accompanying images show various perspectives of the staircase and surrounding areas across different floors, including first floor looking down to the basement, first floor entry, second floor looking down, and a second floor hallway/entryway. The images reveal the current carpeting, which appears to be a brownish-tan textured carpet, and provide visual context for the replacement project's scope.
