Questions and Answers for FA460021Q0049 – Snow Removal Equipment Q1. First, are we able to substitute a track skid steer for the wheeled skid steer?

A1. We need at least 1 Wheeled Skid Steer. The Tracked works but had multiple issues during different activities last year. A Wheeled is preferred for both.

Q2. Secondly, regarding the loaders, I assume you are only looking for a pin on bucket. I just wanted to make sure that these machines do not need a quick coupler. If they do, what style is needed?

A2. Yes, Pin on is sufficient.

Q3. The 4 trucks 20+ cu yd. Are they required to be highway capable or is an articulated construction earth mover off highway type what you’re looking for?

A3. Both are allowable. They will technically be on “city streets” but LAA has authorized us to use these larger off-highway type vehicles if we want.
