Last Minute Questions

1. The drawings say to connect the 120v side of the fire damper to an existing fire damper circuit. Where is the closest fire damper circuit?

THE DRAWINGS INDICATE FOR THE CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THE LOCATION OF THE

CLOSEST CIRCUIT.

2. The drawings also say that the fire damper and air handling equipment associated with the fire damper equipment must be shut down. What air handler is this and where is it located?

SHUTDOWN OF UNIT IS NOT REQUIRED AS PART OF THE SCOPE OF THIS PROJECT. THE

DAMPER SHALL CLOSE UPON DETECTION OF SMOKE IN THE CORRIDOR.

MODIFICATIONS TO ANY AIR HANDLING UNITS ARE OUTSIDE OF THE SCOPE OF THIS

PROJECT.

3. Does the exhaust fan for the bathroom also have to be shut down?

OUR UNDERSTANDING IS THE EXHAUST FAN DOES NOT NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN.
