About this file
This document is a Requests for Information (RFIs) tracker for Project FA4528-25-Q-JKB01 Air Compressor, associated with the 5th Munitions Squadron at Minot Air Force Base. The RFI document contains 15 detailed questions and responses related to the air compressor installation, covering technical specifications and installation requirements. Key details include confirmation of American-made product requirements, electrical specifications such as wire size, disconnect switch details, and air line installation parameters.
The RFIs address specific technical aspects of the project, including placement of the air compressor in the maintenance room, pipe sizing (150' of 3/4" pipe and 30' of 1/4" pipe), electrical disconnect labeling, and mounting requirements. Responses indicate flexibility in some areas, such as wire size, conduit size, and pipe material, with the primary constraints being code compliance and avoiding interference with existing infrastructure. All RFIs were received between 19-20 March 2025 and answered on 24 March 2025, suggesting a coordinated and timely information exchange to clarify project specifications.
