About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a Red Rag Machine procurement. The Q&A addresses three key points: (1) No service or maintenance reports are available for the Red Rag Machine, which has not been operable since its initial delivery and installation, (2) The vendor cannot provide pictures of piping for the Rite Temp RTR-803 chiller and Fulton FB-4 boiler due to insulation and protective covering, and (3) A site visit has been scheduled for 28 August, which interested parties can attend after the solicitation amendment on SAM.gov. The document suggests potential bidders will need to conduct an on-site inspection to gather more detailed information about the equipment's current condition and specifications.

Red Rag Machine Q&A

1. Is there a service or maintenance report available for the Red Rag Machine that we could review to better understand its current condition?

We have no service or maintenance reports for the Red Rag machine. It has not been operable since it was delivered and installed into this building during the startup

2. Could you confirm the size and distance of the piping associated with the Rite Temp RTR-803 chiller and Fulton FB-4 boiler?

We unfortunately cannot oƯer pictures of the size of the piping for the chiller since it is covered in insultation and covered with a protective shell. Doing so may cause unnecessary damage to parts in good working condition.

3. As an alternative, would it be possible to arrange an inspection visit within the next week to verify these details firsthand?

We have amended the solicitation on SAM.gov and are allowing for a Site Visit on 28 August. Please let us know if you are interested in attending.
