Question and Answers

1. Are Scaled Drawings available, if so please post.

‐ Yes, see Attachment 8 – Floor Plans.

2. Are Ceilings Suspended? Or Hard Lid?

‐ Yes, there are both suspended ceilings and hard lid.

3. Are there existing Cable Trays for wiring above ceilings?

‐ Yes.

4. Can Existing Wiring be utilized?

‐ No, new wiring will be required.

5. Is a “UPS” required? If so, What Time/Power Duration is required?

‐ Yes, 12-volt, 7-amp hour batteries, at least 20 minutes. Building has generator, that normally kicks in within a few minutes.

6. Are “Or Equal” Equipment substitutions allowed?

‐ Equipment must be compatible with Armed Forces Medical Examiner System (AFMES) setup, AFMAO and AFMES both need access to the same readers. Current setup is all Lenel readers and software.

7. Is “Plenum Wire” acceptable?

‐ Yes, Cat 6 or higher.

8. Is “After Hours Access” for said work, available to contractor at no additional cost to the Government?

‐ No.

9. What is the height of Exterior Cameras? (If any) ‐ 15 feet.

10. Please provide a list of equipment to be installed.

‐ See updated Door Readers, Attachment 6.

11. Is there an incumbent vendor who has been servicing the existing system?

‐ Yes, CDO Technologies Inc.

12. If so, what is the most current contract number and amount?

- FA449717F5R36, $210,766.26. Updates were made from the current contract to this acquisition.

13. If applicable, are there any records of recent major repairs, additions, upgrades or other work on the existing system, including as part of a larger remodeling or new building construction project?

‐ No major repairs.

14. If applicable, are there any records of regular preventative maintenance performed on the existing system?

‐ Preventative maintenance done twice a year; all systems currently active.

15. Is there any requirement for the readers to be FICAM-compliant?

16. Are there any requirements for the system to be cyber-secure?
