About this file
This document is a trifold pamphlet providing antiterrorism awareness information for contractors working at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL). It outlines the role of contractors as "force multipliers" in maintaining security vigilance and reporting suspicious activity. The pamphlet defines terrorism, provides examples of suspicious behaviors to report, and explains the different Force Protection Condition (FPCON) levels and associated security measures. Contractors are instructed on what information to provide when reporting suspicious activity and how to contact the 87th Security Forces Squadron.
The related federal contract opportunity is for a requirements contract to provide commercial kitchen equipment maintenance and repair services at various dining facilities on JB MDL. The contract will have a 1-year base period with 4 option years. This is a commercial acquisition under NAICS code 811310, set aside for small businesses. The solicitation is expected to be issued around March 26, 2024 and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
