About this file
This document provides installation considerations and technical specifications for pallet racking systems to be deployed across multiple facility locations.
Installation must follow a sequential "domino" approach, with only one row installable at a time. Site preparation cannot begin until a separate Lift contract is received. The installation sequence for each row requires: area clearing, row installation, safety guide and bollard installation, floor repair (completed by end of day and cured by next morning), and row activation before proceeding to the next row. Installation Deployment Operations may occur at any time, but the contractor must be prepared for operational pauses as mission requirements dictate. Three primary rack configurations are specified: 3-Level Rack (Single Stack) at 12 feet high with 9100# beam capacity per level; 3-Level Rack (Double Stack) at 16 feet high; and 4-Level Rack (Double and Single Stack) at 264 inches high. The Storeroom includes two areas: a main section with 9100# beam capacity per level and a Tunnel Bay (pick/flue tunnel) with 6190# beam capacity per level. The Main Room row addition features a 3-Level Single Stack configuration measuring 1002 inches (83'6") in length with 9100# beam capacity per level. Safety requirements mandate floor guide rails reinforced at joints with recessed connectors, rounded guard extensions to permit material handling equipment aisle entry with bollard placement, and rails anchored to the floor.

INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
- Installation/Site prep cannot take place until Lift (separate Contract) is received.
- Installation Deployment Operations can happen at anytime; contractor is to be made aware installation may be paused for a duration of time as mission dictates.
- Installation will have to be completed in domino fashion (MEANING ONLY 1 ROW CAN BE INSTALLED AT A TIME).
-- Area for 1 row will have to be cleared -- 1 row will be installed -- Safety guide and bollards will have to be installed -- Floor will have to be repaired (@ end of day and must be cured by next morning to resume operations) -- Row will be put into operation -- Start back at top of “domino” list
