About this file

This is a technical specification document detailing installation considerations and physical requirements for HUSKY Equipment Racks at Little Rock Air Force Base. The installation must follow a strict sequential "domino" methodology, where only one row of pallet racks can be installed at a time. Each installation cycle requires area clearing, row installation, safety guide and bollard installation, floor repair with overnight curing, and operational activation before proceeding to the next row. The document provides detailed dimensional specifications showing rack configurations with measurements ranging from 41 inches to 264 inches in various directions, including front elevation views for both storeroom and main room installations.

The safety rail specifications mandate that rails be reinforced at each joint with recessed connectors, feature rounded ends to allow material handling equipment aisle entry, and be anchored to the floor. The document includes elevation drawings for different rack locations and notes that the teardown and relocation of existing pallet racks may be required. Critical to the installation schedule is the prerequisite that site preparation cannot commence until a separate Lift contract is received, and that Deployment Operations can occur at any time with the understanding that installation may be paused as mission requirements dictate. Contractor personnel must be aware that floor repairs must cure overnight before resuming operations the following day.

INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS

Installation/Site prep cannot take place until Lift (separate Contract) is received.

Installation Deployment Operations can happen at anytime; contractor is to be made aware installation may be paused for a duration of time as mission dictates.

Installation will have to be completed in domino fashion (MEANING ONLY 1 ROW CAN BE INSTALLED AT A TIME).

-- Area for 1 row will have to be cleared -- 1 row will be installed -- Safety guide and bollards will have to be installed -- Floor will have to be repaired (@ end of day and must be cured by next morning to resume operations) -- Row will be put into operation -- Start back at top of “domino” list
