B481 Dispatcher Workstation & Parts Questions and Answers
5 May 2025
1. Will there be a need for a ‘Live Cutover’ installation from the current dispatch consoles (meaning some number of consoles must remain operational at all times) or will this be more a complete teardown of current consoles with immediate installation of new consoles? This impacts how many days will be needed to complete.
There is no live cutover. Space is completely vacant.
2. Will the vendor be responsible for teardown and disposal of current consoles? If yes, will a dumpster be made available for disposal of existing consoles?
Space is completely vacant and has no existing consoles.
3. Does the map table being asked for need to be a 50” monitor with all the extra add-ons stated in the PWS or is it just a table, shown in picture on the drawings, that needs to be able to support the monitor and add-ons?
Map table is just a table as pictured in the drawing that will have HDMI & Power outlet extended from the top to below the raised floor. It should also have USB charging and CAT6 ports at the top. We will place/mount the Digital Display and Map Box to the table after consoles are installed. Similar to this:
4. The equipment that will be provided by the contractor with have bluetooth compatibility.
Is that authorized or does the equipment need to be non-bluetooth compatible?
There is no restriction on Blue-tooth in this space.
5. Is the Agency in question seeking a standard 5 year warranty, or extended 10 year warranty?
The standard warranty is fine.
