This is a Statement of Work for the installation of mini-split air conditioning units at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. The 352nd Special Warfare Training Squadron requires the procurement, installation, and commissioning of two 3-ton ductless mini-split air conditioning systems in the Air Traffic Control Simulator Rooms located in Building 730. The work must comply with all local building codes and electrical standards.

The contractor shall install two 3-ton mini-split indoor units mounted on either the West or South wall of each simulator room with readily accessible controls. For outdoor installation, the contractor must install two condenser units on the West side of Building 730 as close to the building exterior as manufacturer specifications allow, complete with pre-made condenser pads and 40 AMP disconnect switches equipped with padlock capabilities for each unit. All electrical conduit and piping must be sealed and insulated at building entry points. Interior conduits must route above the drop ceiling until reaching the location above the indoor units, then be securely wall-mounted in a professional manner. Electrical supply wiring must originate from the main panel box in the hallway outside the Jumpmaster Classroom. Work is scheduled during normal hours of 0730-0430, with arrangements required for any outside-hours work through the Facility Manager. Personnel and work trucks must enter through the Ft. Bragg Knox Street Access Control Point with valid REAL ID. Upon completion, the contractor must perform full system testing to ensure both units operate within manufacturer specifications and leave the work area clean and debris-free.
