About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for RFP #FA445225R0045 related to HVAC ventilation system cleaning. The Q&A covers seven key topics, including scope of work, project logistics, and contractor responsibilities. Specifically, the cleaning involves approximately 132 vents across the entire HVAC ventilation system, from sources to diffusers. Contractors must obtain prior approval from the Contract Officer to work weekends, with 72 hours' notice required. The government will not move furniture, but contractors may move and must return furniture to its original location. The contractor is responsible for cleaning all debris and must include a line item in their proposal for potential repairs to items broken during the cleaning process. No preliminary vent scoping has been done, and contractors may conduct their own scoping at their own expense.
