Key technical details include specific requirements such as polyurea base with poly-aspartic topcoat for epoxy flooring, three coats of wax for classroom floor, white plastic switch faceplates, and fan placements centered in the bay area. The project involves no HVAC system modifications, no roof work, and no changes to mechanical rooms. An asbestos/hazardous materials survey has been completed, and no asbestos-containing materials or lead-based paint were identified. The government will remove large containers from the bay area prior to contractor work, and contractors are instructed to contact the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) if any unexpected hazardous materials are discovered during construction.
