About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) document for the Department of Health (DOH) Office electrical work project.

The project involves installing electrical infrastructure to support office reconfiguration, including the installation of approximately 6-10 drop poles with 20-amp circuits and 2 outlets per pole throughout the office space. Existing outlets from removed cubicles will be retained for use rather than removed and replaced, though outlets in back partitions will be rewired to eliminate extensions from old cubicle outlets. The contractor will install 7-9 new circuits total, subject to electrical panel capacity and final layout requirements. Outlets will be 20-amp dedicated white outlets, either single or double gang configurations, as long as the breaker does not trip. Power poles will be white in color. The work will be performed in accordance with a floor plan identified in the attached DOH Furniture Layout.png document, which specifies pole locations and circuit requirements per pole. The period of performance is 60 days from contract award. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 0700-1600, with weekend and holiday work available by coordination with the Facility Manager. Power pole connection methodology (direct to slab connection and slab tension specifications) is at the contractor's discretion. Certified payroll submission procedures will be provided following contract award.
