About this file

This document is an Amendment 3 Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a P-1 Entry Control System solicitation for Travis Air Force Base. The Q&A addresses two specific questions regarding system controller locations and documentation. The first question seeks clarification about the location of a controller box in the 60 APS room, which was not visited during an initial site review. The response indicates there is one controller box in that room, with photographic evidence available in a separate "Building P1 Entry Control System Locations" document. The second question inquires about whether drawings will show reader and controller locations, to which the response is negative, instead directing potential bidders to review the aforementioned locations document, which confirms 16 reader locations inside and outside Building P1 with wiring already in place.

Question 1:

We were not able to visit one of the rooms where system controllers were installed. There was some discussion as to whether they were side by side like in the IDO room or were on di erent sides of the room. Can you please clarify?

Answer. There is one controller box in the 60 APS room (the room not visited). Photo is provided in the Building P1 Entry Control System Locations document.

Question 2:

Also, will the drawings you will be providing show the locations of the readers and controllers?

Answer. No, however, review the Building P1 Entry Control System Locations document. The readers will be at 16 locations inside and outside building P1. Wiring is in place.
