About this file

This document is an Amendment 02 Questions and Answers for Solicitation FA442725Q0198 regarding a DCC Surveillance System upgrade at Travis AFB. The solicitation requires a full removal and replacement of 18 existing non-TAA compliant surveillance/presentation system equipment, including non-serviceable cabling, with a design/build proposal for installing 20 TAA compliant IP-based cameras. Key technical details include a requirement for one standalone system with a single Network Video Recorder (NVR) for viewing all cameras, no specific brand preferences for cameras or monitors, and cameras must be on the Air Force approval list. The contractor will be escorted while working in classified areas and handling secret-level equipment.

Notable specifications from the Q&A include existing infrastructure details such as C3850-NM-210G POE switches, Vertiv LieBert PSLS UPS, tile ceilings, fiber connection between buildings, and a Crestron AV@&Pro2 2-Series Integrated Dual Bus system for displaying cameras and workstations on three main monitors in the Deployment Control Center. There is no requirement for a maintenance contract, no projectors need to be mounted, existing cable pathways can be reused, and no specification requirements exist for new monitors. The system will be implemented in buildings P1 and requires a lift for exterior and interior camera installations.
