About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal solicitation FA441926Q0041 for a Catholic Music Director position at Altus Air Force Base.

The solicitation is a follow-on contract to previous contract FA441921P0046, which ran from 30 September 2021 through 29 September 2026. Key service requirements clarified in the Q&A include: the contractor will work with existing volunteer backup singers already serving the Catholic community; musical accompaniment is required for Sunday Mass and Holy Day Masses only, not for daily Monday through Thursday Masses; the contractor is permitted to use substitute qualified personnel when absent, which is a contract requirement with no prior approval needed; the chapel uses specific software formats (Proclaim and PowerPoint/ProPresenter) for worship slides, though these are not utilized in Catholic worship services; and the contractor may need to coordinate with Protestant services that use these presentation tools. The document confirms this is a continuation of established services rather than a new requirement.
