FY 23 Base Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services Solicitation Number: FA441922Q0002 Questions and Answers

1. Would you confirm if this is an entirely new effort or is there an incumbent currently providing these services? If so, would you please provide the incumbent contract details?

a. Eden Park Corp is the incumbent for this effort. The prior award

(FA441918D0001) was effective 16 October 2017 and will end on 31 October 2022. The current contract value is $1.2 Million.

2. What is the contract value set for this opportunity?

a. This acquisition is an indefinite-quantity contract for estimated orders purchased at the prices provided in the selected contractor’s pricing schedule (see FAR 52.216-22 Indefinite Quantity on page 34 in the solicitation document for more information). The government will order at least $100 and at most $1,990,010.75 worth of services (see FAR 52.216-19 Order Limitations on page 34 of the solicitation document for more information).

3. The model number below (21820) for the red Grainger shop rag is for a 12"x12" rag instead of a 14"x14" rag. According to Grainger's website, the only sizes available for oil and grease shop rags are 12"x12" and 15"x15". What size do you require?

a. A red, Grainger Choice rag, size 15”x15” or equivalent is required. The manufacturer model number has been updated on page 7 on the PWS to #7920- 01-454-1148.

4. Uline also has a similar red shop rag(s-13712). Would this option work?

a. A sample of another manufacturer’s shop rag will need to be presented to the

COR for approval prior to operational usage. This information was updated on page 7 of the PWS.

5. What size, color, and material type is required for the 350 Laundry Bags required for the Maintenance Unit?

a. These laundry bags are government-owned, so they will be provided to the contractor. They are white, 10”x11”, nylon bags. Appendix A: Method of

Washing, Packaging, and Item Ownership Per Organization on page 16 of the PWS has been updated to state the Maintenance Unit’s requirements.

6. What size, color, and material type is required for the Club Altus aprons?

a. These are no longer listed as a requirement. Page 15 of the PWS and the Price

List form has been updated to show this change.

7. Is there flexibility with the bar towel specifications? It is listed as 15"x15" white, terry cloth cleaning rag on the solicitation PWS, but would 16"x19" white towel with a blue stripe in the middle be acceptable?

a. Yes. A standard-size bar cleaning towel that is at least 15”x15” is acceptable. The bar cleaning rag description on Page 8 of the PWS has been updated to show this change.

8. Is there flexibility for the tablecloth sizes?

a. We can accept the following size ranges for the round tablecloths:

i. 92" Round can be a minimum of 92" and a maximum of 94"

ii. 85" Round can be a minimum of 85" and a maximum of 88"

iii. 65" Round can be a minimum of 65" and a maximum of 68"

b. The 54" x 120" Rectangle and 61" Square Tablecloths are required.

c. The tablecloth requirements on page 15 of the PWS and on the price list have been updated to reflect this change.

9. What size of cloth napkins is required? Will a range of 16" to 20" square work?

a. A minimum of a 16” x 16” napkin is required. Page 8 of the PWS has been updated to show this change.

10. Can you give estimates on the amount of table cloths needed at one time? (i.e. Are the Club Altus events spread out throughout the year, or are they large single events?).

a. Attachment 8: Club Altus Linen Supply Estimates lists the number of bar cleaning rags, tablecloths, and cloth napkins to have in stock for the Altus Club requirements. Additional tablecloth and cloth napkins colors will be requested with advance notice by the government. Page 8 of the PWS and the price list have been updated to reflect this change.

11. Will a 100% polyester tablecloth work for the Club requirements instead of a 50% cotton/50% polyester blend?

a. A 50% cotton/50% polyester blend is required to prevent wrinkling from the packaging process.

12. Would Altus AFB be willing to provide a replacement cost estimate for the Chemical Warfare Suit Top and Bottom?

a. The price for the Chemical Warfare Suit Top averages $150. The price for the
