About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a federal solicitation to repair the Airfield Parking Ramp at Joint Base Charleston (JBC). The solicitation (FA441825R0003) covers milling and overlay of asphalt pavements for 9 aircraft parking spaces, including new pavement markings, joint resealing, and miscellaneous concrete repairs. Key administrative details include a pre-proposal conference and site visit scheduled for 11 Mar 2025 at 9:00 AM EST, with attendees meeting at a specified location in North Charleston to board government transportation to the airfield.
The Q&A file addresses three specific contractor inquiries, including clarifications on demolition sawcut requirements, base access security protocols, and project scheduling. Notably, contractors must complete JS-US007 - Level I Antiterrorism Awareness Training within 30 days of base access and submit a Baseline Cost Loaded CPM Project Schedule within 30 calendar days after the Notice of Award. The project is being managed by the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command, with a question submission deadline of 17 Mar 2025 at 2:00 PM EST.
