Motor Cycle Salient Characteristics

Cruiser Motorcycle – 8 Each (e.g., 2024 Yamaha V Star 250 or Equal)

• Must be NEW condition (defined as previously unsold with less than 100 miles on the odometer).

• Acceptable model years 2023, 2024, or 2025.

• Must be a cruiser-style motorcycle (dirt bikes, dual-sport, or off-road models are not acceptable).

• Must be suitable for beginner training, lightweight and easy to handle.

• Engine displacement not to exceed 500cc.

• Must have a fuel-efficient gasoline engine.

• Low seat height to accommodate beginner riders.

• Equipped with two mirrors and operating turn signals.

• Must meet at least two of three thresholds:

o Engine displacement ≤ 500cc o Curb (wet) weight ≤ 400 pounds o Seat height ≤ 30 inches

Sport Motorcycle – 8 Each (e.g., 2024 Honda CB300R or Equal)

• Must be NEW condition (defined as previously unsold with less than 100 miles on the odometer).

• Acceptable model years 2023, 2024, or 2025.

• Must be a sport-style motorcycle (dirt bikes, dual-sport, or off-road models are not acceptable).

• Must be suitable for beginner training, lightweight and easy to handle.

• Engine displacement not to exceed 500cc.

• Must have a fuel-efficient gasoline engine.

• Low to mid seat height appropriate for new riders.

• Equipped with two mirrors and operating turn signals.

• Must meet at least two of three thresholds:

o Engine displacement ≤ 500cc o Curb (wet) weight ≤ 400 pounds o Seat height ≤ 30 inches
