The contract involves removing and installing 132 new stoves across three multi-story dormitory buildings (Buildings 91009, 90358, and 92276), with 8 additional stoves to be stored. Key details include that the stoves are pre-procured, installations will occur in occupied units during 0700-1600 hours, and contractors require a valid government-issued ID for base access. The contract has no specific bond requirements, and installation is expected to be completed within 2-4 weeks following contract award, with the offer due date of 12 May 2025.

Specific installation logistics include that each dorm room has its own electrical breaker, the buildings are three-story with no elevators, and the current stoves are GE Range model JDP36B0W4AD. Contractors must accommodate day sleepers, coordinate packaging disposal with base services, and can temporarily store old stoves at their original location. Base access restrictions include prohibiting individuals with felony convictions, parking on grass is not permitted, and a government representative will be onsite daily to provide access. The contract is a new procurement with no incumbent, and no specific model number restrictions were placed on the replacement stoves.
