About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details repair requirements for a 2009 Grove 50T Crane (TMS700E model, VIN 476S700E59S229552) for the 823d RED HORSE Squadron at Hurlburt Field. The comprehensive repair scope includes multiple technical repairs and maintenance tasks such as software updates, fixing hydraulic and transmission leaks, replacing inoperable turn signals, performing boom inspection and lubrication, repairing air conditioning, and conducting a full post-repair inspection. The contractor must perform all work at a repair facility within 300 miles of Hurlburt Field, use only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standard parts, follow Grove specifications and OSHA regulations, and provide written documentation of completed repairs and warranties upon project completion.

The contract requires the contractor to ensure no government property is damaged during service, with the contractor being responsible for any repair or replacement at no cost to the government. Transportation of the crane to and from the repair facility will be handled by the 823d RED HORSE Squadron. After repairs are completed, the contractor will coordinate with the squadron's Vehicle Management to inspect the repairs and facilitate vehicle pickup. The SOW emphasizes strict adherence to manufacturer technical specifications, including performing an operator's check to confirm the crane functions according to manufacturer standards.
