1. Please provide the Schedule B CLIN pricing for the current contract.

3. What is the current contract's annual dollar value?
Total Contract Value for time period listed in question 2: $5,971,335.75
4. What is the name of the current contractor providing these services at Hurlburt?
Alcryst Limited Liability Company
5. Because of COVID 19 Protocols, have any of the normal services been modified, or suspended? As an example, many of our contracts no longer permit the Salad Bar Station, salads are now prepared in advance for customers to grab and go. Are guests permitted to sit and enjoy their meal in the dining room, or is it all take out service?
Offers pre-made salad Single exit & entry Increased hand sanitizers The Riptide DFAC closed for several months, but was reopened Feb 16, 2021 Dine-in is not currently available at both dining facilities, and are only offering carry out service.

6. Dining Room Seating; at present what is the allowable dine in seating amount at each
DFAC?
Pre-COVID normal operations (normal seating capabilities) Reef has 254 seats can and serve 1,524 sit down meals a day Riptide has 134 seats and can serve 804 sit down meals a day During COVID Both DFACs are not offering dine in service—we only offer carry out service Reef Meal served per day: 370 carry out Riptide meal served per day: 107 carry out
7. Regarding Food Service Operations at the Reef & Riptide, is Legacy dining - a more traditional cafeteria style still being used, or did service transition more toward the use of Individual Stations?
Both DFACs are Legacy dining facilities and are using the traditional AF wide 28-day menu.
Note: Both facilities are approved for the Campus Dining System (CDS) conversion this year—CDS will allow meal cardholders (ESM members) the option to eat at the NAF food facilities on base instead of only the DFAC. Expected implementation Mar 2021.
8. Regarding Meal Counts at the Riptide; requesting the actual Meal counts by week for Oct 2018 through Sept 2019 & Oct 2019 through Oct 2020.
Based on our tracker, Riptide DFAC served an average of 1004 customers weekly
9. Regarding Meal Counts at the Reef; requesting the actual Meal counts by week for Oct 2018 through Sept 2019 & Oct 2019 through Oct 2020.
Based on our tracker Reef DFAC served an average of 2275 weekly
10. Does the government expect the number of meals served to increase if the COVID Pandemic is under control and COVID protocols are relaxed at the Dining Facilities? If so how much of an increase does the government expect over the expected meals found in the PWS?
There is the potential for an increase after CoVID due to the amount of current teleworkers. Additionally, there may be a slight decrease after the DFAC conversion to
CDS.
11. Regarding Contingency Workload for Contract Cooks; how many Contingency hours were used in Oct 2018- Sept 2019 & Oct 2019 – Oct 2020?
Oct 2018- Sept 2019 = 11,224.25 Oct 2019- Oct 2020 = 8,033 With our manning authorization and projected deployments, the Contingency Cook hours were reduced to 5,760 a year for this requirement. The contingency cook CLIN will only be used if there is a Government need during any performance period.
12. What was the cost of Repairs Oct 2019 through Oct 2020 at both dining facilities?
Civil Engineering Squadron covers the repair for the buildings and all items they consider real property.
DFAC hires civilian contractors from off base to conduct major repairs to all kitchen equipment. DFAC team spent $30K last year in equipment repairs.
As identified in the PWS in paragraph 1.9 and Appendix 1 (Minor and preventive maintenance) the Mess Attendant Contract identifies and assists DFAC in making minor repairs and maintenance of the equipment such as cleaning, adjusting, oiling and greasing equipment, tightening nuts and bolts, and performing other maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
13. Is the Current contractor using a contracted Maintenance service company to complete such tacks as calibrating all scales and deep fat fryer thermostats, cleaning evaporators and compressors?

14. Regarding COVID Practices, is the Government or the contractor supplying the additional Hand and Surface Sanitizer?
In accordance with the PWS, the Mess Attendant contractor is responsible for providing the sanitizer supplies necessary in order to meet the requirements of the contract.
15. Please provide a copy of the most recent couple of Heath Inspection results at both Dining Facilities.
Due to COVID, we closed the Riptide last year so no Health Inspection report was done.
