Question 14: Can you provide the name of the specification that lists blast requirements (setbacks, etc...) for exterior doors and windows relative to subject contract?

Answer:

UNIFIED FACILITIES CRITERIA (UFC)

DoD MINIMUM ANTITERRORISM STANDARDS FOR BUILDINGS.

Question 15: Mobility Storage: General Note 15 calls for all exposed low pressure duct to be to be double wall with 2” internal liner. Notes 11 & 12 call for single wall duct with 2” external fiberglass wrap. Which do I use?

Answer: Notes 11 & 12 are covered by the spec. Note 15 is for all supply duct.

An amendment will be posted updating Page M0.

Question 16: JTC/TRS Facility specs call for DDC controls and the Mobility calls for programmable thermostats. Are these specs correct or can standalone controls with programmable stats be used on both projects?

Answer: DDC is not required for either building. Programmable thermostats shall be used on both projects. An amendment will be posted to reflect this.

Question 17: Are there any alternate equipment that can be used on the Mobility building or is the Lennox unit locked in?

Answer: Lennox is the basis of design, all equipment must meet the minimum requirements of the drawings and specifications.
