About this file
This is an amendment to a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for Catholic Music Director services at Maxwell Air Force Base. The 42nd Contracting Squadron is seeking a small business contractor to provide choir direction services for Catholic Masses and related liturgical activities from September 22, 2026, through September 21, 2031, across five one-year contract line items (CLINs 0001-4001). The solicitation deadline has been extended to August 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. CDT, with deliveries to the 42d ABW HQ Chaplain at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. This is a competitive, firm-fixed-price procurement limited to small business vendors only, with award anticipated to the lowest-priced offeror meeting minimum qualification criteria.
Offerors must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience as a Catholic choir director, familiarity with specified liturgical hymnals, and the ability to conduct varied music styles for Advent, Lent, and Ordinary Time services. Quoters are required to submit dated quotes with unit and extended prices, a detailed statement of capability, a resume addressing experience requirements, and past performance references (one to three contracts within the past five years from relevant educational or administrative support efforts). Mandatory qualifications include passing a background check for military contractor status, gaining base access authorization, and passing Air Force background clearance to work around children. All responses must be submitted via email to Spencer Jones (Contract Specialist) and Jeremy Kersey (Contracting Officer) at the provided contact information. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for award.
