Q 1) We are certified by the CHDCA (Certified Hood and Duct Cleaners Association) . Is this accepted?

Q 5) Will there be a walk thru of any of the facilities JBSA Lackland, FT Sam, Camp Bullis or JBSA

Randolph? Is there a point of contact we can have at each site to be able to visit and inspect current

Hood systems?

Majority are Ansul R102 – wet systems - the rest are as follows: Amerex, Denlar, and Range Guard

– The systems are checked twice a year and the last inspection was Nov 2015. Randolph AFB: Ansul and last inspection was Oct 2015. The systems are checked twice a year also.

Q 10) Are we allowed to dump the captured water into the grease trap at any of the sites?

A11) Yes, it is usually the facility manager or the person on site that will sign the work ticket.

Q 12) I think something is wrong with the estimated quantity of the spreadsheet. According to the technical exhibit 1, bldg. #325 have hood #1 to #8, and need to get clean semi-annual. Therefore, the formula in the spreadsheet should be 8 (each) multiply by 2 (semi-annual). By doing so, it is clear that there are 8 hoods need to get clean twice a year in building #325. Then building #1287 is showing 9 hoods that need to get clean every month. Therefore, the spreadsheet formula is 9 (each) multiply by 12

(monthly). Please review the spreadsheet to get an accurate bid.
