CONTRACTORS QUESTIONS
As of 28 Mar 13
(CUMULATIVE)
1. Q. It appears that having e-mail access will be necessary to perform various functions of this contract such as receiving customer requests and submitting the monthly, semi-annually, and annually reports and updates to the CO and COR. Will the contractor be given a CAC card and have access to electronic mail service and Local Area Network (LAN) connectivity?
A. There will be no CAC card; contractor will have to provide their own email/internet service.
3. Q. Appendix C: Will the contractor be given a phone and phone line to conduct government business?
A. The Government shall only provide base and local commercial telephone service. Long distance service, if desired, shall be at the contractor’s expense.
4. Q. Reference Performance Work Statement (PWS) paragraph 1.1 Basic Services: Given that all of the buildings that has FMO assigned furnishings have 3 floors, is there elevators that the contractor can use to move the furnishings to and from customer rooms?
A. Yes, there are elevators in buildings 3126, 3135, 3139, and 3206.
5. Q. Does the government anticipate this requirement needing a designated Project Manager in addition to the two positions designated in the PWS?
A. This would be a determination made by your business; if you determine that is how to be responsive to the Request for Proposal (RFP)/Furnishing Management Service (FMO).
