Q1 Will the equipment in the room be required to be relocated by the contractor?
A1 Refer to notes on the drawings.
Q2 Is the track for the lockers to be left in place, removed and replaced, or removed only?We aren’t sure it can be salvaged for reuse due to it’s age.
A2 Track is to be removed by User. Prepare floor as indicated in Detail 3/A-101.
Q3 Are there any fire suppression requirements?
A3 There is no fire suppression in the facility.
Q4 With the Fire alarm work only being a remove and reinstall, please confirm that an FPE is not required to re-certify the system.
A4 Correct there will be no requirement for an FPE.
Q5 Please confirm that the user will remove/ reinstall camera’s and that we are to only provide pathways.
A5 Confirmed
Q6 Will the conduit for the advantor system be surface mount after the walls are complete, or need to be concealed?
A6 Surface mount
Q7 Can the ground-bonding be surface mounted to the SPB panels?
A7 Yes
Q8 We are unable to locate a supplier of the SBJ panels that are manufactured this way, therefore the warranty will only be for craftsmanship on these panels. Please confirm that this is acceptable.
A8 Believe the question is in regards to "SBP" as "SBJ" is not found in the documents. Warranty to include performance of adhesive and craftsmanship.
Q9 Is there any structural analysis needed to confirm the loading on the bar joists?
A9 No, Structural Analysis has already been performed during design to account for ceiling panel load.
Q10 Is there any pre-tab information for the current humidity or system air flows in the space?
A10
There is no information about current humidity trends for this facility. See attached As-Built drawings from 1972 for initial system designed airflows to be used for reference only. Verify actual system configuration and airflows in the field before system modification.
Q11 Can you confirm if the existing HVAC controls are programable?
A11 The current system runs R7044 controls and are programable, but are antiquated.
Q12 Should the new door have, or not have exterior hardware?
A12 Door is sole access to the space, therefore exterior hardware is required and to be included with Class 5 door.
