About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document providing clarifications for a federal contract opportunity at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, for FAA Class III physical examination services.
The document addresses three key points: 1) The period of performance will begin as soon as possible, 2) Services can be performed either at the contractor's clinic if within 60 miles of Columbus AFB or on-base with the contractor providing their own transportation, and 3) For pricing purposes, the extended price can match the unit price when the quantity is one. The Q&A supplements the main solicitation (FA302225Q0303) which seeks an FAA-Approved Aviation Medical Examiner to perform Class III physicals for Initial Pilot Training students.
