FA3022-16-R-0006 Responses to Questions
1. Can you provide information on the following questions: Incumbent, contract value and period of performance for the contract? Does it include cost for 6 months extension?
ANSWER: Incumbent contractor is GEN4 Services, LLC of Clarksville, TN. Contract value is $1,676,458.34. Performance period is 1 Apr 13 thru 30 Sep 16. Cost was included for 6 months extension.
2. We would like to request a site visit. Please advise.
ANSWER: See amendment 00001 for date and time of site visit.
3. Could you please provide the following information for all CBA covered employees: 1)
Seniority, 2) List of certifications and 3) current pay rate. Also could you tell me if there are any employees who are working night shift since the CBA requires a shift bonus.
ANSWER: Information requested (1-3) are considered confidential and would not be released. There are no night shift employees under this contract.
4. Will the government provide the questionnaire for completion?
ANSWER: Past performance questionnaire will be posted in Amendment 0002.
5. Will the government provide the directive for utilization to perform in PWS 1.1.3, VRDs
(local manufactured items) not covered in AFI 11-301V1?
ANSWER: Yes; directive/specification is attached.
6. It is our understanding that the T-6 presses are currently assigned to the T-6 COMBS provider and on their GFE listing for accountability, inspection and maintenance. This question is raised in that we believe that the Government may be paying for the service on two separate contracts. Will the Government confirm that these services should be performed under the AFE contract?
ANSWER: The service listed in PWS 1.2.8.2, is an inspection to ensure that presses have the right amount of oil and operate properly like a prior to use inspection. This inspection has to be done twice a year and can be performed at the AFE level. T-6
COMBS is still responsible if the press breaks or if during the bi-annual inspection a major discrepancy is discovered.
7. Will the Government confirm that 12 Navy T-38 parachutes should be added to
Appendix C?
ANSWER: Yes – see amendment 0002, revised PWS dated 4 Apr 16.
