About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for Air Force Solicitation FA302026Q0122 addressing contractor inquiries regarding the replacement of compressor units at a flightline facility.

The requirement involves replacing two of three non-functional compressor units (Compressors 2, 3, and 4), with Compressor 1 remaining operational and in place. Replacement units must be compatible with existing infrastructure without requiring modifications to power supply or compressed air line systems. The concrete pad measures 45 feet by 16 feet, with current unit dimensions of 76 inches by 169 inches. Key site constraints include a chain link fence, small building, and CASS Dryer adjacent to the units. Crane access is required from the flightline side, with approximately 55 feet distance from crane setup area to the last compressor. Contractors must include crane and forklift costs in their pricing, as the Government will not provide this equipment. Delivery time must be included in quotes. Replacement units must comply with DAF CC Part 23 regarding elimination of Class 1 ozone-depleting substances and FAR 52.223-23 Sustainable Products requirements. Container preference (open or closed) is not specified. Site dimensions provided include rear clearance of 174 inches and pipe spacing of 117 inches between rear base plates.
