SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 – BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

AMENDMENT 0001

The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate changes to the solicitation, and to answer questions submitted by potential offerors.

1. Replace the price exhibits A-D with revised prices exhibits attached to the amendment.

2. Final questions will be accepted up to 23 Jul 10, 4:30 PM local time (CST).

3. The following information is provided in response to questions submitted by potential offerors:

Q1. “If two companies join together to form a joint venture or teaming arrangement, BOTH must be licensed as asbestos abatement contractors with the state of Texas. Since this work is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran companies, is it correct that these companies cannot team with an existing licensed asbestos and lead abatement contractor and be successful in going after this contract. Is it the intent of the requirements that any and all and each of the companies involved must have an asbestos and lead abatement contractor’s license or they will not be considered”?

A1. Both companies shall have asbestos and lead base paint abatement licenses with the State of Texas to be considered for this contract.

Q2. “Can adjustments be made to clines/price exhibits if wage rates/determination rise during the contract”.

A2. Due to this award being a firm fixed price contract, clines/price exhibits will not be able to be adjusted during contract performance.

Q3 “Is the consulting services (i.e., project design, air monitoring, clearance sampling etc) to be included by the contractor for this IDIQ or is the base going to provide these services”.

A3 See attached revised price exhibits. New items have been added to the price exhibits to add air monitoring and clearance sampling.

2. As a result of the above questions and revision to the price exhibits, the proposal due date and time for this solicitation is hereby changed to 30 Jul 10, 4:30 PM local time (CST).
