About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for the MWD Kennel Screen Repair Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) FA301626Q0292. The document addresses contractor inquiries regarding screen repair and replacement services for military working dog kennels at JBSA Lackland.

The solicitation involves repair and replacement of screen/drop-curtain assemblies across six MWD kennel buildings, with approximately 32 curtains per kennel. Screen dimensions vary by location, with existing assemblies referenced at approximately 110 inches wide by 90 inches tall. Contractors are required to submit unit pricing (per each or per hour) on Schedule B without pre-specified quantities. The Total Screen Vinyl Replacement CLIN involves total replacement of unit assembly. Contractors may use equivalent parts and materials with Government approval, provided they ensure compatibility and structural integrity per specification sheets. Response and completion time for each BPA call order is within 24 hours after materials receipt. Based on previous history, estimated annual volume is 30-60 call orders. Contractors may transport components offsite to local shops for repair using specialized equipment, subject to SOW requirements and JBSA base security procedures. Dogs will be relocated prior to work performance, and working hours are specified in the Statement of Work Paragraph 8. This BPA replaces the prior agreement FA301625A0045.
