About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract FA301626Q0131 addressing procurement and installation of a portable shower trailer.

The solicitation requires delivery of a portable shower trailer to Randolph AFB, Building 1058, located at 10843 Fourth St W, Randolph AFB, TX 78150. The trailer must contain exactly six (6) private shower rooms plus one (1) utility/mechanical room, with seven (7) keyed doors all operable with a single master key. The unit must be equipped with an electric water heater. Delivery is expected by September 7, 2026, with flexibility to remain as close to that date as possible. Inspection and acceptance will occur on-site at Randolph AFB and cannot be completed on the same day as installation. This is a one-time purchase, not a rental arrangement. Contractor submittals must be approved by the 502 CES Point of Contact prior to purchasing the trailer, with approval to be granted as soon as possible upon receipt. The government will not consider alternative configurations; an eight-room trailer configuration referenced in one question was explicitly rejected, with the answer confirming the unit must contain exactly six shower units.
