QUESTIONS & ANSWERS (Q&A)

REQUEST FOR QUOTE: FA301625Q0137

8-STATION SHOWER TRAILER RENTAL

12 MAY 2025

1. Question: Is there a current incumbent performing service? If so, what is the current contract award?

Answer: There is no incumbent performing service. As this is a brand-new requirement, no current contract award information is available to provide.

2. Question: Will the government allow the contractor to collocate a sleeping trailer for our on-site technician?

Answer: No, the contractor does not need to be on site 24/7.

3. Question: To confirm, the government will provide all the utilities. As such, are our technicians required to tie-in to these utilities or is CES required to do so? If the latter, we would need to see pictures of the tie in location and what we will need to supply. This is mainly for the electrical service. We understand the spigot size and can easily support that.

Answer: CES will be responsible for doing the tie-in with contractor permission. As a reminder, CES will provide a ¾” spigot (30-50 PSI) water source within 100 feet and for power, three (3) 20amp/120v dedicated circuits.

4. Question: Please let us know the estimated number of users that will be using the shower trailer daily. Will the unit be required to have the capability of 24/7/365, usage?

Answer: An estimated number of 20-50 users daily. The unit does not need to have capability for 24/7/365 usage. This is for a 4-month lease only being utilized from 11 AM to 8 PM every day.

5. Question: Please share with us the type of exercise the shower trailer unit will be supporting (e.g. Airmen that are in field like environments, 24/7 Tactical Exercise, or simple overflow need to support a dorm being renovated)? This is necessary to understand as it will affect the level of effort for cleaning and disposable supplies.

Answer: The trailer will be utilized for daily pool season usage. The level of effort for cleaning and restoring stock supplies must be conducted IAW the Statement of Work.

6. Question: Given the tight turnaround between the award and May 19 delivery, would early award consideration or preliminary intent to award be possible to facilitate successful execution?

Answer: Please refer to Amendment 1 – Solicitation – FA301625Q0137 for basis for award, instructions to offerors and evaluation criteria.
